Cool ANY answer. Re: odd/even record display

display odd / even records
To select ODD record
SELECT max(rownum),empno,ename FROM emp GROUP BY rownum,empno,ename
HAVING mod(rownum,2)<>0

To select Even record
SELECT max(rownum),empno,ename FROM emp GROUP BY rownum,empno,ename
HAVING mod(rownum,2)=0

Default ANY answer. Re: delete duplicate records

try this -

DELETE FROM table_name
 WHERE column_name1 IN
( SELECT e.column_name1
  FROM table_name e, table_name f
  WHERE e.column_name1 =f.column_name1 AND
  e.column_name2=f.column_name2 )
