Default Readme!

As you may have noticed we have just moved to a new site powered by vBulletin.

All the information from the old site has been saved and moved across to the new site, however if you notice something is missing please send me a PM.

Also since I am still learning how to use vBulletin, there may be things that are not set correctly. If you notice anything that is not normal please send me a PM.

Bugs are expected since this vBulletin has been modified to suite our needs.

I hope you enjoy the new site with all the new added benefits.

Rating System
Please make sure you use the rating system to enhance this site and make it better to use for everyone. You can rate threads, (articles and answers coming soon). If you need help to use any of the features please submit a post here.

SQL markup
In order to markup your SQL statements, place your query in a [ SQL ] [/ SQL ] tag (without the spaces between the square brackets), like this:
[ SQL ] SELECT * FROM example WHERE id = 3[/ SQL ]

which will look like:

[SQL] SELECT * FROM example WHERE id = 3[/SQL]

NOTE: Sometimes you may need to refresh your page to see the markup.

ATTENTION - Unregistered Users
At this stage I have made the site 'friendly' for unregistered users, which means you can ask questions, answer questions and search the forum freely. However if you want to use the site to its full potential and be able to download attachments please consider becoming a member.

Contact me
The best way to get in contact with me is to send me a Private Message (PM) from this forum. (You need to register in order to send and receive PMs). Otherwise you can send me an email at ben at sqlrecipes dot com

Hint
If you become a member you will see a 'Quick Links' link in the top navigation menu. You will find plenty of useful links there such as "Today's Posts", "Mark Forum Read" etc... which makes it easier for you to know what is happening on the forum quickly.

Cheers,

Ben

P.S: If you find this site useful, please let others know about it. (i.e. tell your friends, write a blog, etc...) Thanks!
